Hummus is a versatile and delicious dip that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you're hosting a party or just looking for an easy everyday snack, hummus is sure to please. Made with simple ingredients, it's packed with protein and healthy fats. It's easy to make and can be served with pita bread, crackers, or vegetables.
Ingredients:
- 1 can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cumin
- 1/4 cup finely chopped vegetables (e.g. bell pepper, cucumber, carrot)
- 1 tsp Nigella seeds
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and cumin.
- Process until smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving dish.
- Arrange the chopped vegetables around the hummus and sprinkle Nigella seeds on top.
- Garnish with parsley (if using).
